A performer from Red Deer, Alberta who loves to act, sing, and write, Emily has been improvising for four years. Sonder is Emily's first Fringe Festival production and she is very excited to be involved in creating and presenting with The ? Collective - the incredible adventure is just beginning!

A compassionate theatre artist and creator and graduate of Red Deer College. Following his success as D’Artagnan in Three Musketeers at Red Deer College, Tyler is excited to be joining The ? Collective at the Fringe with Sonder. He’d like to thank and show his appreciation for his family for always supporting him.

Evan Macleod
  • Performer

Currently studying Theatre Performance and Creation at Red Deer College, Evan's most recent performance was in Ten Lost Years. As well as acting and singing, Evan is a talented musician, playing piano, saxophone and tuba. He is thankful for the support of his friends, classmates, professors and his Mom and Dad.

Erin Pettifor
  • Performer

Raised in Red Deer, Alberta, Erin is enjoying studying Theatre at Red Deer College. She has been involved in the production of Butt Ugly and Ten Lost Years and has recently completed Canada’s National Voice Intensive, Vancouver B.C. Her aims are to grow as an artist in all areas of theatre and to further enhance her classical voice and improvisation skills.

The guy who tinkers in music, cameras, animation and whatever else he can get his hands on to to try and express "human souls". Alex is also a demon in the kitchen!

Brittany Martyshuk
  • Performer

A recent graduate of the Theatre Performance & Creation, Red Deer, Brittany's performances have included; Summertime, A Comedy of Errors, The Three Musketeers and Solo Flight. As an interdisciplinary, Brittany plans to grow both professionally as an artist and personally.

Julia van Dam
 
  • Performer

A young theatre artist born in Holland and raised in Alberta, Julia has long had a passion for the arts. A recent graduate of the Red Deer College theatre performance and creation program, she is looking forward to her Edmonton Int’l Fringe debut in the The?Collective show Sonder. In her free time she enjoys being outside in the sun and practicing hot yoga.

Michael Johnson
  • Production Manager

Having developed his love of theatre on stage, acting in performances including Shakespeare and musicals in the U.K., Michael has gone on to stage manage, direct one act plays and theatre shows. He is currently studying Theatre and Entertainment Production at Red Deer College. Michael is excited to be a part of Sonder and his first ever Fringe!

Louise Mallory
  • Producer

Joining the Sonder team from a background in improv and storytelling, Louise was ASM for A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Walterdale Theatre Associates), and Stage Manager for God on God (WAMO Productions, Edmonton Fringe 2013). She is looking forward to being ASM on Six Degrees of Separation with the Walterdale in the fall. She also writes about theatre on her blog http://ephemeralpleasures.com.

 

Jake Tkaczyk
  • Director & Facilitator

The Director! Jake is excited to be a part of this show and his Fringe debut! A recent graduate from Red Deer College's Theatre Performance and Creation program, Jake has been accepted into the BFA Acting program at the University of Alberta. Acting credits include Antipholus of Syracuse in The Comedy of Errors at RDC and Frank in Charles Mee's Summertime. He was also the vocal coach and assistant director for RDC's production of Ten Lost Years. Jake is excited to continue working as an artist and hopes to direct, act and create for years to come. He would like to thank everyone involved with Sonder, for playing, exploring and trusting in him throughout this process.

Collette Radau
 
  • Dramaturge

Hailing from Bowden, Alberta, Collette is a 2014 graduate of the Theatre Performance & Creation program at Red Deer College. She will be moving across the country this fall to attend York University and work towards achieving her BFA in Acting or Devised Theatre. Earlier this year in January, she completed a three-week internship with Young People’s Theatre in Toronto, Ontario, and hopes she gets a chance to work with the company again in the future. Besides acting, Collette is also a dancer, visual artist, amateur baker, and lover of cats.  Collette is thrilled to have been a part of the ‘behind-the-scenes’ team as the Dramaturge of Sonder.

Rina Pelletier
  • Performer

Rina Pelletier is a native to Red Deer, Alberta. She first fell in love with theatre while performing the fabulous show Little Women as Beth March. Since then she has had the pleasure of portraying the Mother Abbess and Maria from The Sound of Music as well as Dorothy from the Wizard Of Oz. So far in her college career she has taken part in a co-op showcase project , toured Butt Ugly and performed in Ten Lost Years with her classmates at Red Deer College. She is ecstatic to be a part of Sonder and hopes you all enjoy the show as much as she does!
